Quotas for women on boards: badly needed or bad idea?

Diversity Council Australia’s Annual Diversity Debate will be held on 22 September in Sydney. The debate, sponsored by Ernst & Young, will be moderated by Tony Jones, one of the ABC's most respected journalists and host of ABC TV’s QandA.
This year’s debate will explore whether or not statutory quotas for women on boards are necessary. The capacity crowd of over 140 CEOs, HR directors and managers will hear lively debate from the panel of business leaders and commentators, as early comments from the speakers attest.
