DCA's Diversity Leadership Program for 2012 will commence with two major events that are a must for everyone interested in leading on diversity.
The DCA-Mercer Diversity & Inclusion Program: Strategies for driving change
DCA is proud to partner with Mercer to deliver a special one day Diversity & Inclusion program, featuring Mary Martinéz, a Principal in Mercer’s U.S. business, and global diversity expert.
Mary Martinéz has more than 20 years’ experience in consulting to companies worldwide on diversity and has presented a similar workshop program to over 50 companies in the U.K. and north America. She has impressive knowledge and expertise and will provide attendees with a valuable global perspective.
All organisations will benefit from this highly interactive program designed to give diversity leaders and practitioners the opportunity to share their experiences and challenges in a small group environment; with an emphasis on developing actionable strategies for driving change.
Workshops will be held on 20 February in Melbourne and the 22 February 2012 in Sydney.

Your say on Australia in the Asian Century
DCA invites members to participate in a consultation about the Australian Government’s Issues paper on ‘Australia in the Asian Century’.
We are seeking the views of our members to prepare a submission to the government, and invite you to attend a special members' consultation via teleconference on 14 February 2012. We are interested in your views on important questions like:
- Does your organisation have successful cultural diversity initiatives that could be showcased?
- What more could the government do to address skills shortages in the Australian workforce?
- How effective are existing migration policy settings for allowing business to access the increasingly regional labour market?
- Is Australia’s recognition of skills and qualifications gained overseas enabling business to adequately meet talent shortages?
Your views are important. Click here for more information and to register now!
