Recruiting outside the box - DCA invites you to a leadership briefing on recruiting for diversity in Melbourne
With different economic times ahead, who and how organisations recruit will be crucial for performance, retention and productivity. As we enter an employment market with more choice of candidates, employers have an opportunity to change thinking about just who is 'suitable' for what job to attract and retain talent, and to prepare for the inevitable economic upturn.
Hosted by ANZ, Diversity Council Australia is again pleased to invite you to a Diversity Leadership Briefing on recruiting for diversity, this time in Melbourne.
Facilitated by Dave Lourdes, Founder & Director of Evolving Human Potential Pty Ltd, our key speakers will provide new perspectives and explain how different approaches are achieving results. An in-depth panel discussion will then explore key aspects.
- Neil Waters, Office Leader Melbourne, Egon Zehnder International. Neil has worked extensively both with boards and senior executives in the last eleven years to complete a broad range of executive searches.
- Carolyn Gallaway, Director of Diversity Dimensions. Carolyn has extensive skills and experience in all aspects of diversity recruitment for entry level roles and beyond.
- Nareen Young, DCA's CEO. Nareen is one of Australia's leading strategic diversity thinkers and long-time employment diversity practitioners.
You will gain insight into:
- talent identification, recruitment and retention
- how established workplace cultures can work against diverse candidates at all levels
- how to identify expert and ethical recruitment agencies
- how to get what you want from your recruitment agency
