Disability - How DCA can assist
DCA can assist you to develop strategies and policies to attract and retain people with a disability including:
- DCA has a partnership with the Australian Network on Disability (AND) and works with them to further the diversity agenda on disability. For more information on AND visit http://www.and.org.au/
- Diversity awareness training for managers and employees, which includes information on preventing discrimination against people with a disability and encouraging mutual respect and diversity.
- Developing and evaluating policies and strategies to make the most of diversity.
- Information and education on specialist topics e.g. mental health in the workplace.
- One-on-one coaching to encourage managers and employees to stamp out inappropriate behaviour and encourage respect in the workplace.
