Are you kicking goals on diversity recruitment?
Recruitment firms are at the coal face of attracting talent and can play a critical role in achieving your organisation’s diversity goals. But how can you ensure your recruitment partner shares your commitment to diversity and is really tapping into diverse talent pools?
At DCA’s next Diversity Leadership Program event for members, we are delighted that National Australia Bank can share with us how it has strengthened expectations on recruitment through the development of Diversity and Inclusion Service Provider Principles with a focus on gender, age and flexibility. These principles represent cutting edge diversity practice and require recruitment firms to demonstrate their support and commitment to diversity and inclusion and set clear expectations on this including:
- The recruitment firms’ strategy regarding its own internal diversity
- Processes is has put in place to achieve the diversity policy and counteract bias
- How it will meet the Bank’s requirement to recruit diverse candidates
- What training programs are in place for recruitment consultants to address diversity and inclusion.
Our forum will feature a presentation from Rowan Arndt, Head of Diversity and Inclusion at NAB Group on why the principles were developed and the journey to implementation. We will also hear from a recruitment firm who is working with NAB to deliver on these principles.
We will also hear from Anna McPhee, Managing Consultant Futurestep, a Korn/Ferry Company, on how they work towards supporting a client's diversity objectives.
