Membership Administration Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity for a Membership Administration Coordinator to join Diversity Council Australia (DCA), based in Sydney's CBD though offering highly flexible working arrangements. DCA is the independent not-for-profit peak body leading diversity and inclusion in the workplace. We provide unique research, inspiring events and programs, curated resources and expert advice across all diversity dimensions to a community of 450+ member organisations.

Tasks:

Administration - assist with:

  • Member database management and member reports
  • Website support
  • Accurate and methodical data entry

Member services (after the above become core competencies):

  • Take in-bound calls, make out-bound calls
  • Reply to emails and proactively write emails to assist members
  • Updating membership database with file notes following all contact and reports
  • Compiling internal reports on member interaction and engagement
  • Support with membership meetings and contact notes
  • Assistance with membership relations support at events
  • Potential member sales support

The successful candidate will:

  • Preferably tertiary degree qualified
  • Minimum 5 – 8 years prior directly relevant administration experience, preferably in the membership and not for profit sector
  • Enjoy working in a small team, using established systems and processes
  • Have an eagle eye for detail and strong administrative skills as well as being time efficient
  • Thrive on working independently yet working with technology to connect with remote staff
  • Be motivated, attention to detail and focused
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong numeracy
  • Aptitude and knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs, and able to adapt and learn new technologies
