Time: 2:30pm to 4:00pm

Venue:
Webinar provided by Cisco WebEx

At DCA’s upcoming Gender Equality Network, we will hear from the Australian Human Rights Commission on the findings of its inquiry into Sexual Harassment in the Workplace.

One in three workers in Australia have been sexually harassed at work over the past five years and this is on the rise, according to the Everyone’s business: Fourth national survey on sexual harassment in Australian workplaces released by the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC).

Australia’s Sex Discrimination Commissioner, Kate Jenkins with DCA CEO Lisa Annese will discuss these disturbing survey findings. The Commissioner will also update us on the AHRC Inquiry into workplace sexual harassment and the prevalence, nature and reporting of sexual harassment in Australian workplaces.

Following that, DCA’s Research & Policy Manager, Cathy Brown will outline the findings so far from our consultations with DCA members for the Inquiry.
