Gender Reporting Network

DCA’s Gender Reporting Network, proudly sponsored by Clayton Utz, is open exclusively to DCA members and is designed to assist them in their preparations to meet reporting requirements on gender and to explore leading practice on gender diversity programs. At the next meeting, we will discuss availability, cost and access to childcare as major issues affecting Australian business and the participation of employees in the workplace.

At the first meeting of DCA’s Gender Reporting Network for 2014, DCA will report on its recent submission to the Productivity Commission inquiry on childcare and early childhood learning that incorporated feedback from members.

We will also hear from an organisation who is demonstrating leading practice in the area of childcare and support of parents.

Finally, we will hear an update on WGEA reporting and members will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding the reporting regime.

Our speakers will include:

  • Jo Tilly, DCA’s Policy and Research Manager, who will talk about our childcare submission;
  • Julie Tanner, Senior Manager, Organisational Development & Diversity, who will profile Stockland’s leading practice on workplace supported childcare; and
  • Vanessa Paterson, Advice and Reporting Executive Manager, Workplace Gender Equality Agency who will provide an update on the latest on WGEA reporting requirements.
