DCA is excited to announce the introduction of Australia’s first ever Building Cultural Capability Network. This new network will provide DCA members with an opportunity to further develop their learning and progress on building cultural capability and share their personal and organisational insights and challenges with peers across a variety of industries.

The inaugural meeting of DCA’s Building Cultural Capability Network will be held face to face at the Australian Human Rights Commission.

Our vision is that this network will provide all members, and in particular multi-national corporations, with a unique opportunity to share insights, challenges and experiences on building cultural capability within their diverse organisations. This includes experiences of interacting on a day to day basis with colleagues, customers, clients and key stakeholders across multiple countries, cultures and jurisdictions.

The focus of this first meeting will be to discuss our vision for the new network. Members will also hear from two special guest speakers:

  • Dr Tim Soutphommasane, Race Discrimination Commissioner, Australian Human Rights Commission, who will speak on how important cultural diversity is for Australian business; and
  • Tamerlaine Beasley, Founder and Managing Director at Beasley Intercultural, and past National President at Australia Thailand Business Council, who will outline emerging trends in the area of cultural diversity.

The teleconference component of this event is brought to you by Message Stick, sponsored by Leighton Holdings.

The rest of this content is restricted to DCA members.
