DCA’s latest research, Leading in the Asian Century: A National Scorecard of Australia’s Workforce Asia Capability, is an Australian first study designed specifically to support Australian organisations to realise the full potential of Asian markets.

For Australian businesses, one of the biggest barriers to realising the Asian opportunity is a lack of understanding about the importance of Asia Capabilities – in particular which capabilities are critical to business success and how they can best be developed.

In this landmark study, Diversity Council Australia has developed an AQ Survey Tool and National Benchmarks of Workforce Capability for organisations to measure and compare their workforce Asia capability.

Dr Jane O’Leary, DCA’s Research Director will outline key research findings and the implications for Australian organisations. This will be followed by a moderated discussion led by Lisa Annese, DCA’s Chief Executive Officer, with an expert panel of business leaders including:

  • Sally Woodward, Partner, Employment & Labour, Norton Rose Fulbright in Australia
  • Tracey Gavegan, Group Executive Human Resources, Telstra
  • Alice Wong, Head of Asian Leadership, Australian Financial Services at Westpac Group, and Asialink Board Director
  • Ruchir Punjabi, Founder / Managing Director, Langoor, and Chair of Australia India Youth Dialogue (AIYD) Advisory Board

This breakthrough research project is generously sponsored by Norton Rose Fulbright, Telstra, and the CIMIC Group, with assistance from Asialink Business.
