Membership

Membership is available to organisations, and their employees are eligible to access member benefits. If you are interested in becoming a member, please visit the 'Become a DCA member' page of our website or contact our office via email on [email protected] or call us (02) 9322 5197.

Annual membership fees are dependent on the size (number of employees) of your organisation.

Annual membership fees (in Australian dollars) are:

  • 1-299    $1,465.91 + $146.59 GST = $1,612.50 incl. GST
  • 300-599     $2,443.18 + $244.32 GST = $2,687.50 incl. GST
  • 600-1199     $4,202.27 + $420.23 GST = $4,622.50 incl. GST
  • 1200-2999     $5,765.91 + $576.59 GST = $6,342.50 incl. GST
  • 3000+ employees     $8,990.91 + $899.09 GST = $9,890.00 incl. GST

These amounts are effective from 1 March 2015 and include an administration fee of $220 (incl. GST).  Membership fees are non-refundable.

DCA’s policy is that only member organisations' employees are eligible to access member benefits. This may not suit organisations that are themselves member or volunteer based. If your organisation falls into one of these categories please contact us on (02) 9322 5197 or [email protected] for further information.

Not-for profit/charitable organisations may be eligible for a 50% discount on membership fees if they are registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. If this applies to your organisation, please contact us on (02) 9322 5197 for more information.

A separate membership category exists for organisations primarily involved in consultancy in the diversity field. The annual membership fee for this category is $5,000 incl GST and has been set with regard to the value of DCA’s knowledge base and research and the potential use of both for commercial gain and business development purposes. If this applies to your organisation, please contact us on (02) 9322 5197 for more information.

Where the member organisation is a large parent company for diverse business operations across different industries, it is not intended that the parent company shares their exclusive membership entitlements with a large number of business entities. Please call us on (02) 9322 5197 to discuss the most appropriate membership arrangement if you believe this may apply to your organisation.
