Research Matters

In this issue, DCA puts the spotlight on an Australian first research study we have partnered with Deakin on investigating the cultural diversity of ASX Boards over the past decade. The findings reveal that while cultural diversity on ASX boards has increased, Australian boardrooms don’t yet reflect the cultural diversity of the broader community and are failing to realise the potential benefits. We also look how flexible work practices can increase customer satisfaction; why considering staff as ‘whole’ persons can improve work satisfaction; the ways in which the double bind continues to affect women at work; whether there is a motherhood penalty during the job application process and many others.
