Collecting data about the age of your employees can assist in the implementation of initiatives aimed at attracting, engaging, and retaining an age diverse workforce.

As with any form of data collection on diversity, employees may can be sensitive to answering questions on age, especially if they feel the information may be used in a negative way. Ensure that employees are informed on what the information is being used for, and that their responses will remain confident.
