Launch of our Inclusion@Work Index: Sexual Harassment Special Edition
September 23 @ 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm AEST
FreeWhen it comes to sexual harassment, inclusion matters.
This event explores how fostering inclusive workplace behaviours can help create environments where sexual harassment is less likely to occur. Drawing on DCA’s new research report: The Power of Inclusion: Preventing workplace sexual harassment, we examine how workplace inclusion reduces harassment. We will also identify the specific actions teams, managers, and organisations can take to build safer, more respectful workplaces.
An introduction from DCA’s new CEO, Catherine Fitzpatrick (she/her), will be followed by an exploration of the relationship between inclusion and sexual harassment at work by DCA’s Head of Research, Dr Rose D’Almada-Remedios (she/her).
Join us to learn more about our findings from the 2025-2026 Inclusion@Work Index dataset which demonstrate how inclusion can be a protective factor against sexual harassment.
Dr Rose D’Almada-Remedios will be joined by guest speakers, including:
-
Marie Boland (she/her), Chief Executive Officer, Safe Work Australia
-
David Brewster (he/him), Chief Legal and Safety Officer, Coles Group
-
Sally Calder (she/her), Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Respect X
-
Phoebe Mwanza (she/her), Head of Education, Diversity Council Australia
Who should attend: Chief People Officers and HR Directors; D&I and HR managers and practitioners, Risk and OH&S leaders; people leaders; Employee Resource Groups and D&I Champions; and any colleagues/team members in your organisation wanting to build their D&I knowledge.
