Diversity Council Australia (DCA) has opened registrations for Inclusion at Work Week (IAWW) 2026, inviting workplaces across Australia to celebrate and champion inclusive practices that enable everyone to thrive at work.
Taking place from 16-20 November 2026, DCA’s Inclusion at Work Week is an annual, nation-wide celebration of workplace diversity and inclusion (D&I). It’s an opportunity for leaders, employees and D&I practitioners across Australia to come together and learn, connect, and share the actions they are taking to create safer, fairer and more respectful workplaces.
This year, DCA has announced a packed line-up of events, new resources and practical learning opportunities designed to help organisations celebrate Inclusion at Work Week. Highlights include:
- the announcement of DCA’s 2026-2027 Inclusive Employers
- the release of a new Inclusion at Every Employee Lifecycle Toolkit
- a series of Open Knowledge Programs covering D&I fundamentals, unconscious bias, cultural intelligence and preventing and responding to workplace sexual harassment
- the release of an updated Creating Multifaith Inclusive Workplaces guide
- the publication of DCA’s highly anticipated 2027 D&I Days and Dates Calendar.
How to get involved in Inclusion at Work Week 2026
Organisations can register for Inclusion at Work Week to receive information and resources to support their participation. DCA member organisations who register will also gain access to exclusive member resources and be entered into a competition to win a DCA Knowledge Program valued at $2,750.
DCA CEO Catherine Fitzpatrick said Inclusion at Work Week is an opportunity to celebrate the incredible efforts of inclusive organisations and recognise the powerful role workplace inclusion plays in building stronger organisations and a more connected and cohesive society.
“We know that inclusive workplaces are better for people and better for organisations. When employees feel respected, valued and able to contribute, organisations benefit through stronger wellbeing, innovation and performance,” Catherine said.
“At a time of increasing social and economic uncertainty, fostering inclusion has never been more important. Workplaces have a unique opportunity to bring people together across different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, helping build understanding, trust and respect.
“Inclusion at Work Week is a chance to celebrate the progress organisations have made, learn from one another, and recommit to building workplaces where everyone can thrive.
“Whether your organisation is just beginning its inclusion journey or has a mature diversity and inclusion strategy, there are opportunities throughout the week to learn, connect and take practical action.”
DCA is encouraging organisations of all sizes and sectors to get involved and join the national conversation by participating in Inclusion at Work Week 2026 and sharing their inclusion stories across social media using the hashtag #InclusionAtWorkWeek.
