Building workplace inclusion for trans and gender diverse people
September 1 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm AEST
FreeThe Australian Human Rights Commission’s Equal Identities report found trans and gender diverse people experience significant barriers to their personal safety, dignity and full participation in Australian society – including in workplaces.
At our next event, in partnership with Pride in Diversity, we will investigate the report findings and discuss how organisations can take action to foster inclusion, safety and belonging for trans and gender diverse people.
Sex Discrimination Commissioner, Dr Anna Cody (she/her) will overview the report findings. And through a mix of expert commentary and lived experience, the panel discussion will bring the data to life—grounding it in real-world impacts on employees, teams and organisational culture.
Following the keynote, Commissioner Cody will be joined on the panel by:
-
Nicki Elkin (they/them), Associate Director, Quality Training & Research, Pride Inclusion Programs
-
Moya Dodd (she/her), Partner, Gilbert + Tobin
-
Roen Iridian (they/them), Project and Engagement Officer
Who should attend: Chief People Officers and HR Directors, D&I and HR managers and practitioners, Employee Resource Groups and D&I Champions; people leaders; and any colleagues/team members in your organisation wanting to build their D&I knowledge.
