Safety by design: responding to domestic and family violence
November 26 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm AEDT
At DCA’s next Gender Equality Insights webinar, regulators, industry leaders, customer advocates and people with lived experience will explore a critical question: what would change if safety and wellbeing were designed into our workplaces, systems and customer experiences from the outset?
The discussion will examine how organisations can better support employees and customers affected by domestic and family violence (DFV), reduce risks, and embedding safety into policy, processes and decision-making.
We’ll explore:
-
designing systems that prevent harm before it occurs
-
shifting responsibility for safety from individuals to organisations
-
using lived experience to inform better workplace and customer outcomes
-
emerging expectations around safety, trust and accountability.
Join us for a thought-provoking conversation on what it takes to build workplaces that are safer, more inclusive and better equipped to support those affected by DFV.
Who should attend: Chief People Officers and HR Directors; D&I and HR managers and practitioners, ERGs and D&I Champions; leaders in customer experience, service design, digital products, customer safety, regulation and policy.
Please note, further event details will be posted at a later date and registrations open approximately four weeks before the event. Until then, we suggest you add the time and date in your calendar as a placeholder. (event, date and time may change, so please always check back)
