Out in the open: a transgender executive on the business of transitioning

Acceptance of the LGBTIQ+ community has come a long way in the last 30 years, but there’s still lots to do to support its trans and gender diverse members – especially when it comes to work.

Executive Aram Hosie, who identifies as a binary-presenting trans person, has navigated life – and the workplace – as both a man and a woman.

But how did he approach it? Who supported him? Did people treat him differently? What happened with bathrooms … and, with pronouns? What’s best practice?

Aram, alongside Mark Latchford from Pride in Diversity, answers these questions and busts a few myths along the way.
