Perth Research Update: Disability Data at Work

Collecting disability data enables organisations to understand the mix of people in their workplace and the inclusion and exclusion experiences of employees with disability. This helps organisations make informed decisions about accessibility, monitor progress, and drive positive change that supports inclusion.
Join us at the ECU Mount Lawley Campus in Perth for this in-person event which will be emcee’d by Professor Braden Hill (he/him), Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students, Equity and Indigenous), Edith Cowan University.
DCA CEO, Catherine Hunter (she/her), will present the findings from our report Disability Data at Work, in partnership with Australian Disability Network. The presentation will explore the key insights from the report, which sheds light on the workplace experiences of people with disability and outlines essential strategies for fostering workplace environments where employees feel safe to disclose their disability without fear of repercussions.
Following the presentation, Aaron Green (he/him), Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Projects Coordinator and Disability and Neuro Diverse Advisory Group Chair, Murdoch University will lead a discussion with our guest panel to explore the critical role capturing disability data has in cultivating inclusive workplaces where all employees can thrive.
