In this case study, Commonwealth Bank share how they implemented their domestic and family violence policies.
Ryan Burke, Head of Inclusion & Diversity at Commonwealth Bank, says, “Different people need different types of support and different amounts of time away from the workplace to recover, rebuild, and manage their affairs.
“While there’s no one solution in terms of providing support to people impacted by domestic and family violence, we know through working with sector experts, our academic partners, and indeed our own internal research, that providing unlimited paid leave provides a much-needed safety net.
“It is a complex area. But the goal is to provide flexibility and unwavering support for employees.”
