On Friday July 4, we had the honour of marking Diversity Council Australia’s 40th anniversary at Admiralty House with our Patron, Her Excellency the Honourable Governor-General, Ms Sam Mostyn AC. It was a special moment to reflect on four decades of work advancing diversity and inclusion in Australian workplaces.
DCA Chair Sunita Gloster AM (she/her), CEO Catherine Hunter GAICD (she/her), and President and Commissioners of the Australian Human Rights Commission were present. DCA founding members and senior leaders joined us, including AMP, AXA XL, BHP, Coles Group, and IBM Australia.
This event also took place during the lead-up to NAIDOC Week, and we’re grateful to Aunty Norma Ingram and Aunty Donna Ingram for their reflections on the significance of NAIDOC Week, and for their beautiful Welcome to Country.
Our sincere thanks to Her Excellency and the team at Admiralty House for hosting this milestone event.
