DCA CEO, Catherine Hunter (she/her), was joined by an expert panel at KPMG in Melbourne to discuss why engaging the “moveable middle” is essential for driving meaningful progress on gender equality.
Hayley Cull (she/her), Deputy CEO, Engagement at Plan International Australia, shared about their Gender Compass; a first-of-its-kind research project that segments the broader Australian public into six groups based on their beliefs, views and behaviours around gender equality.
Dorothy Hisgrove (she/her) from KPMG discussed how her organisation is adopting a similar approach, outlining the results, challenges and successes they have experienced so far.
James Fazzino (he/him), Convenor for the Champions of Change Coalition, highlighted their work to embed gender equality and inclusion into future-focused decision-making, design and communications—drawing on both the Gender Compass messaging guide and the Coalition’s 7 Switches guide for inclusive gender equality by design.
