This event marked the launch of DCA’s 5th Inclusion@Work Index.
The Inclusion@Work Index 2025-2026 findings, based on a survey of 3,000 workers in Australia, once again showed that inclusion mattered to workers and that inclusive environments supported wellbeing and performance.
However, the results also highlighted several areas where businesses needed to improve their diversity and inclusion efforts, particularly in relation to inclusive leadership.
The DCA research team explored the state of:
- inclusion and exclusion at work in 2025–2026
- inclusive leadership and ways to better engage people leaders
- support for diversity and inclusion in 2025–2026
Speakers included the report authors:
- Dr Rose D’Almada‑Remedios (she/her), Head of Research, Diversity Council Australia
- Emily Tynan (she/her), Research & Projects Manager, Diversity Council Australia
- Deborah Wu (she/her), Senior Project Manager – RISE, Diversity Council Australia
