Supplier diversity

What is supplier diversity?

Supplier diversity is a business practice that encourages diversity in the supply marketplace by purchasing goods and services from businesses owned by, or that assist, marginalised groups.

In Australia, most supplier diversity programs have traditionally focused on procurement from First Nations’ businesses and disability enterprises. However, there has been a growing shift in organisations also including women-owned businesses, social enterprises, and B Corporations

Organisations can support supplier diversity by implementing a supplier diversity program. DCA members can access member-only content below on why and how to set up their program.

The rest of this content is restricted to DCA members.

To find out more about joining DCA please see below.

If your organisation has already signed up for membership, this will activate as soon as payment is received.
