Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders have preserved ancient laws, traditions, and knowledge for tens of thousands of years. Knowledge sharing is networked between leaders from different nations, kinship groups, extended families and other cultural leaders. This sharing plays an integral role in preserving and strengthening cultural knowledge.

At our next First Nations Insights event, we will look at the power of First Nations leadership and how we can understand, nurture and celebrate this leadership in the workplace.

Key areas of discussion will include:

• First Nations leadership and its unique qualities
• the role of culture, land and community in leadership
• how understanding the past informs future leaders, including the vital role of knowledge sharing  
• how to nurture leadership potential in First Nations people
• effective succession planning for First Nations leaders.
