2025 is set to be another landmark year for Diversity Council Australia (DCA), as we prepare to deliver an impressive line-up of industry-leading research, resources, and events.
Here’s a glimpse at what we have planned for 2025 – a year that promises to be both inspiring and impactful.
2025 Research and resources agenda
DCA will continue to launch groundbreaking research and resources this year, designed to address emerging challenges in the D&I landscape. Key initiatives include:
- Class Inclusion at Work: This Australian-first study will explore social class inclusion in Australian workplaces to provide practical, evidence-led recommendations to help employers address class-based exclusion and build more equitable environments.
- New guides and resources: DCA is committed to equipping our members with industry-leading resources to inform your D&I efforts. This includes a new Getting Started on D&I Guide and an Inclusive Meetings at Work Guide.
- Tools for an evidence-led approach: Our focus remains on providing practical tools and actionable data in 2025, with the release of guidelines for applying intersectionality at work, and for collecting, analysing and reporting on D&I Data at Work. We will also release recommendations for measuring workforce neurodiversity, developed in partnership with AMAZE.
- Education programs to get your team on the right track: DCA’s popular e-learning and Knowledge Programs are a great way to ensure employees remain engaged in D&I work. New programs on inclusive leadership and intersectionality will be launched this year.
- Participate in DCA’s Inclusive Employer Index 2025-2026: Measure the diversity of your organisation, understand your employees’ experiences of inclusion and exclusion, and demonstrate your commitment to D&I. DCA’s Inclusive Employer Index is a great opportunity to be recognised as a leader in fostering inclusive workplaces
2025 Events calendar
DCA’s 2025 event calendar is shaping up to be one of our most engaging and impactful yet. Here’s a preview of what’s already locked in:

- The State of Reconciliation in Australia – June.
In addition to these headline events, DCA will host a variety of in-person events for its members, including research updates, key contact events, and CEO Roundtables.
Inclusion at Work Week will also be returning in 2025, offering organisations the opportunity to celebrate diversity and inclusion efforts across Australian workplaces
