DCA submission in response to Consultation Paper: Australian Public Service Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Employment Strategy
DCA provided comments on an employment strategy released by the Australian Public Service (APS) to address the challenges and barriers for employees who are culturally and linguistically diverse. These challenges include discrimination and racism and how the APS responds. DCA provided advice on concepts and language used as our research tells us that terminology and conceptual clarity are extremely important if we are to identify and accurately describe the lived experience of our most marginalised and disadvantaged people at work. DCA also outlined our anti-racism approach and our intersectional focus.
