DCA participated in a consultation and submitted a written submission to the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations on addressing barriers for women in vocational education and training (VET) pathways.
This is DCA’s second submission supporting amendments to paid parental leave to ensure that Australia can offer government funded parental leave that is flexible, gender-neutral and promotes shared-care arrangements between parents.
DCA provided a submission to the Department of Social Services to support a strong and diverse community sector, including funding for organisations that support specific disadvantaged and marginalised communities.
DCA welcomes the changes proposed in the Anti‑Discrimination and Human Rights Legislation Amendment (Respect at Work) Bill 2022 and commend the Government’s efforts in taking action in this area.
