The second National Mental Health Monitor, released by Australians for Mental Health in April 2024, revealed a concerning rise in the number of Australians struggling with poor mental health and loneliness – workplaces, however, can play a vital role in addressing both, benefiting individuals, teams, and organisations alike.

What’s more, DCA’s Inclusion@Work Index consistently shows that inclusive environments are linked to employees feeling that work has a positive impact on their mental health.

At DCA’s next thought leading event, our CEO, Catherine Hunter, will be joined by leading experts to explore loneliness at work – what it looks like, why it matters, and how we can build the knowledge and skills to develop and maintain meaningful social connections at work.

The event will be hosted by our Major Event Partner Gilbert + Tobin at their Barangaroo offices in Sydney and after the event we invite attendees to join speakers and the DCA team to network over refreshments and afternoon tea.
